This is looking great, are you planning to upgrade it to stone at some point as well?  ;)

Lovely piece of work.  :-* It just captures that 'perfect' Roman fort look. You've obviously done your homework on this before starting and it clearly shows! I can't wait to see the whole fort! 8)

Thank you guys.
Right now, I am working on wooden fort and tents. Maybe in the future I will work on stone fort with barracks, stable, etc...

Really good work there. Makes you wish for a huge table, in a huge room, in a huge house

Three new tents added. I put covered scutums and gladius in the front.

There is a Roman fort just down the road from me. It is called the Lunt fort
& is just outside Coventry (England). They have several bits of it reconstructed,
they look just like yours. So similar that at first I thought it was your inspiration.
Excellent work.

I thought so too! (Grew up near the Lunt and have been a frequent visitor).  Great job on the model.

Very interesting build. It's nice to see the enjoyment of the whole building process in the model it's self.

Mark.
( recommend a look at the Past in the Park Facebook page there's over 250 pictures of the life size Roman fort build that started last year. All done by re enactment groups in full gear. You should definitely find some additional inspiration there.(( sorry cant get a link to work ))
