This is for sure Museum quality. Top notch work.

Are you planning to do all four sides? It looks like you will be needing a bigger table  :o  at some point, if you do.

Thanks.

Yes, I will make all four sides... I am not a wargamer (unfortunately). The model is modular and I can remove 2 sections from the middle (one side has gate section and corners etc), but without tents inside.
My plan is to create few diorama scenarios with galic/german/dacian attack on fort and battles with my roman legion.

Wonderful work - I concur this is fit and worthy to be on display in a museum.

Thanks for posting.

One more side is finished and testing the stakes... Not sure about them yet.

Excellent  8)

I think the stakes work well as a separate element but could possibly do with being pointed a bit lower to the ground ?
cheers

Thanks...

I was thinking the same but not 100% sure.  :? When they are lower,  infantry can easily go through it. If barbarian attack as a horde a longer stakes are much better I think.
Cavalry are useless in both case.

James is right from a gaming aesthetics view point. Your much more on the money for realism (less than 40 degrees and they're a hindrance to defence and a leg up for attackers). Like James I'd recommended continuing with the stakes as separate elements As they're a multi functional item in therir own right and don't need to be used just with the fort. If your thinking of a vallum as well then don't for dont forget to orientate the angle of the slopes to the line of sight from the battlements .As its about the only thing that could kill such a lovely build.
The one detail I'd love to see you add is a wooden head quarters and a wooden building under construction. Those in conjunction with the tents. I think that would lift it visually to another level of story telling.
