I wonder how they would look with an Oathmark Elf head...I think I will have to keep an eye out for any comparison photos.

Decent buy just for the bits, even if you didn't especially need a slew of wizards and apprentices.

A nice buy indeed!
On the other hand I have more than four dozen metal wizards, many of those still lack paint.

I think I won't buy this box

Haha, I feel you. But... We can always paint those up and THEN buy the box! :)

Or buy the box and never paint any of them.   :?

What I see here is that now we can have a 2-player starter set to get new players in a convenient way. 1 sprue of Wizards, 2 sprues of male soldiers, 2 sprues of female soldiers, plus a booklet with a mini campaign and we are good to go.

I like this idea. Or 1 sprue of Wizards and four of any other sprues in any combination. You can't leave out the barbarians. That sprue is excellent!

Kev Dallimore has already been playing, sticking the wizard bits of Ghost Archipelago Crewmen bodies:

Kev has also put together 4 more Wizards. Can't wait to see how he paints them.

That's it now though, we've used all the 'test frames' we received, we've got to wait for the delivery of the order from the factory before we can play around anymore.
