Just a note ref the Senior female A.R.V.N or your information ,the sculpt depicting
the female A.R.V.N was inspired by Madame Ho Thi Que the legendary "Tiger Lady" who was a master sergeant ,her husband being a Major. and is really a homage to them both the other lady being Ho thi Ve who was to reach the rank of Lieutenant
Colonel by the end of the war,and even published a facinating book on her time in the WAC and WAFC.

I suppose someone has to ask.. What makes these specifically USAF, as opposed to US Army?

Supplementary question. What’s the pistol grip like protrusion under the receiver of the door gunner’s M60? It can’t a pistol grip as that and the trigger assembly were removed in the D version of the gun and replaced by the spade grips. As a side note, the M60D lacked the perforated heat shield and fore stock.

Just curious as to whether this is some unusual arrangement that I am unaware of.
