Saw the Don McCullin  exhibition today at the Tate Britian, quite awe inspiring
and sobering,,,A fairly huge spread of his black and white photographes, covering the the East end of London,Beruit in the heady 70s, Northern Ireland  and of course Hue 1968..included are his actual M1 helmet spring camo out,and a Nikon camera with a bullet hole in received in!. well worth the visit.

cheers

"....black and white photographes, covering the the East end of London,Beruit in the heady 70s, Northern Ireland  and of course Hue 1968...."

There's a definite theme there.  :D  Gives you a good excuse to include Alf Garnett and Dot Cotton as character figures.

You know the post war variant was in fact slightly lower in height than the WW2 era version? It is a one size fits all. All adjustments for head size are made to the liner.

Curious coincidence. The Hue scenes in Kubrick’s Full Metal Jacket were actually shot in the East End.

Curious coincidence. The Hue scenes in Kubrick’s Full Metal Jacket were actually shot in the East End.

The palm trees were imported from Spain, set in concrete blocks and moved around for whichever shot they were needed in, after shooting they were given to a nearby garden centre which managed to rescue a couple of them.

They were in skips at some points ^__^.

The "paddy fields" were in East Anglia.

Dot Cotton lives in Hertfordshire! ^__^

The "paddy fields" were in East Anglia.

So they managed to find an improverised area where many locals walk around barefooted eh?

This range is good news, when can we expect to see some greens, or better still some production packs?

To be honest, I find it mildly irritating to see just a partial image. Can you ‘reveal’  the whole thing?
