There's
Plenty of good examples of them on the market.
If its just for the pleasure of the build then its a very simple build. Just for speed and ease I'd recommend a kit.
Warbases do a complete one for £15 with the option of purchasing the wagon crew and horses separately (£5 for the card and mdf carriage.)

That said there are some better quality versions offered by several members of the forum

Mark.

Bought two of these from Sarissa - released this month was pleasantly suprised - quite delicate and does not seem as 'clunky' as in the pic.

Hi von S, thanks for posting this.

I am (still) on the lookout for a tchanka model that will fit in well with Copplestone figures and this could be it.  Can I ask what you have done for crews and horses?

Sir Rodney

Hi
Planning to use  plastic ones looking for those perhaps Victrix with as few harnesses/saddle as required - for the crew I am planning to convert some from the Soviet plastic sprues including the Winter one from Warlord.

This is the Warbase version.
All in £15 including vat.
(The separate crew including machine gun £4 definitely useful for other vehicles. At that price its worth a punt)

I can second that the separate crew for £4 are really really useful. They fit in most vehicles as drivers and passengers. With headswaps and light conversion I have so far made them into Norwegians, Germans, British, and an African rebel.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

Ooh, the Sarissa one is really nice! The Warbases looks more like a factory made WW2 tachanka.

LOL fair point but I am not really impressed with the Warbases crew, look quite wooden. so wonderign what other options we have.
