Dom's Decals -- any update?
« on: January 29, 2019, 03:36:05 AM »
Any idea when his store will re-open? Is he doing okay?

Thanks

He had my money, then failed to deliver or even answer e-mails.
I do not hold out any hope that (as someone posted) he is a decent bloke.
I would advise people to NOT send him any money, unless you see quite a few
posts on LAF from surprised customers (like me) saying 'orders delivered' &
maybe a little extra for the veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery long delay.

Even before it closed, it took him 3-4 months to ship my order (internal UK post). He's always been slow, but also - as someone posted - a good bloke.

He is a top bloke and quite sensitive too. I may have heard a tale or two of him asking customers not to publically praise him when he rockets orders out as it might upset those who have been waiting for something for a while. I hope he get's it all sorted soon.

Absolutely no chance of my order 'rocketing out' as it has been MONTHS.
Absolutely no chance of me 'praising him' if he refuses to deal with either order or E-mails.
Absolutely no chance of me being impressed if he neglects older (much older) orders to favour
newer orders (for friends?)
We can all have problems, but to totally ignore repeated  requests, is not the way to behave.
If swamped, & that can happen, especially to one man businesses, then an apology e.g. here on
LAF would buy a LOT of goodwill. Taking the money for goods advertised & not delivering said
goods, coupled with a complete blackout of information... well there is a legal term for that,
which I will not use here.

He has had my money for over 9 months, does not answer e-mail and apparently is good at excuses. I missed my opportunity to dispute it with Pay Pal and that is on me! I ordered knowing it might be months to get my order, but I would never recommend anyone one order from this business.

digid. He has had my money for a year!
I too missed my chance to dispute it with PayPal because people
said, 'he's a nice chap' 'Under pressure' 'WILL deliver'.
Not being one to kick a man when he was down I held fire.
I don't regret that, after all if that is the worst thing that happens to me I can cope with it.
I just do not want others to end up in the situation.
