25mm figures, from the old Battletroops line. I´ve also got a platoon´s worth of Kurita infantry which really need to get painted.  :?

Thanks
   Always liked the battletech stuff.
I have some of the smaller scale stuff. I have never seen any larger scale figures before. To be honest I never looked further than the small Mech scale, as that suited the game we played.

I've never seen those elementals before, but I like that they have in-built stereo speakers - cool

I see they are also in training for the electric wire loop game at the village fête. There is to be no repeat of last year's debacle when the local Brownie pack outshone them and never touched the wire once, and thus made off with the prize bottle of gin. :)

The figures in the first entry are very unusual. Who makes them and what are they and what do you use them for??? ???

The figures are Clan Elemental Battle Armours from the Battletech universe, made back in the day by Ral Partha for Fasa´s infantry skirmish game "Battletroops". There were also some mechwarrior figures, plus Steiner and Kurita infantry. All very, very nicely detailed; as said, I also own a platoon of Kurita troops plus heavy weapons which I´ll need to assemble some time. The Elementals are genetically-engineered power-armour infantry; the figures above, in 25mm scale, measure about 45mm sole-to-top of head (I mounted them on 40mm GW plastic bases for stability).

I do have the original Battletroops rules lying around somewhere, but sadly, as with many Fasa products, you´d need an MIT BSc. to make any sense out of it. lol Jokes aside, they ain´t half bad, but I prefer something simpler; we´ve used them with Stargrunt and other Scifi-Skirmish rules.

Well, that makes two of us, at least!

Look out for the next round, it should be a symphony in red...
