Looks pretty cool.  How much?  You can get a Tamiya 1:48 for about $10-12 off eBay...free shipping

Yeah, I would have to opt for the Tamiya version as it looks more detailed. Sorry...

Lovely looking casting but I’m inclined to agree, it won’t compete well against the Tamiya version, which is likely better detailed, readily available and cheaper to boot. I have one and it’s a gorgeous little model that virtually falls together as a kit. Includes a crew figure to boot.

Each to his own I guess. If I‘d do my vehicles in 1/48 I‘d take this one over Tamiya any time. First it‘s sturdier and second I hate putting together actual scale model kits...

Apply the drop test to any resin vehicle compared to a plastic one and see how that sturdy thing works out for you. Being lighter and having parts bonded with cement not simply adhered with superglue wins every fucking time but too each their own.

How far is a "drop test".  All my vehicles are 1:48.  Haven't had but a few drops from the gaming table. Only thing that may have popped off is actually a crew figure or maybe a side mirror.  Nothing was "broken". Maybe using the wrong glue...dunno.

Good luck in your purchase.

Well, I‘m usually not dropping anything off my tables. Your experiences may be different, but with me it‘s usually fiddly parts like bumpers, antennas and such which will come off or break during handling. And a scale model in all likelihood has a lot more of these fragile parts. But as you said: each to their own. When scale models work for you that’s great for you! Luckily we live in a time and age (at least ehen it comes to wargaming) where different needs and tastes are well catered for.

Dropped a Perry's (NTM resin) Sdkfz 250 off the sideboard yesterday - fell about 3 feet onto hardwood floor
All that happened was 2 slightly bent MG's (metal)
Mind you I do glue mine with 2 part epoxy not supaglue!  8)
