Little Grey Men - 25/02/2019

Plan Red Reiver

Plan Red Reiver is a theoretical planned response of the Army of Blueland to an attempted amphibious coup de main against that nation's capital.

There will be illustrations using commercially available models, these are used to illustrate aspects of the story but should not be used to infer any identification of characters, companies, countries, organisations, and incidents.

There will be a blog, but I am not putting the link on here until I have populated it.

The 60th(provisional) Royal Rifle Regiment is an administrative and legal formation of the army of Blueland.

The first battalion comprises units from a fellow signatory state of the Oceanic Alliance.

Platoon HQ:

Platoon Sergeant

always fun to see modern Imagi-nations.

Like what you did with the Empress Rangers. but not sure I am a fan of the red tinted eye-pro. It seems to blend in to much with the skin, But that is most likely because of the lighting or some such.

Also a fan of the unit motto.  lol

Blueland's Territorial Police forces traditionally are unarmed. Members of the police forces may be trained and undergo qualification to carry and use firearms under certain circumstances. These are referred to as Qualified Firearms Officers (QFO).

The invasion by Redland has meant that armed officers are required to support the evacuation of civilians from the front line and assist the movement of defensive forces.

This QFO has been issued with a ballistic vest and a service pistol.

The QFO figure would be excellent for Winter of 79, I think I might nick your idea of using the X Commando body with police heads 👍🏻

Do not forget the Close Protection Officer (also for PLAN RED REIVER).

That is one of the female X-Commando and the WPC Cathy Black head.

Blueland Specialist Firearms Officers.

Blueland's Territorial Police forces traditionally are unarmed.  There are situations where an armed response is required. For those situations, Specialist Firearms Officers are available. They are trained for hostage rescue, counter-terrorism and assault scenarios.

The invasion by Redland has meant that SFO units have been deployed to protect sites and personnel.

Lightly equipped, their training comes in handy when dealing with "Little Grey Men" operating behind the defence line.

The Little Grey Men came to international notice during the Redland invasion of Blueland. The most popular videos on social media were however a unit in their distinctive grey urban camouflage uniforms being handed their heads by a great grandmother in her nineties (aided by her protection detail).

Armed and equipped with weapons sourced from other countries, these deniable assets became a serious problem during the hours leading to the invasion and operating behind the defender's lines during the invasion. Hitting important buildings and ambushing evacuating members of the Blueland monarchy and government, they wreaked havoc beyond their limited numbers.

The Little Grey Men are represented by Empress US Army infantry with Russian helmets with monocular night vision. equipment.
