Some shots of a recent 28mm Nam game with Empress Minis (and the Danger Close rules). Great fun and a first outing for the Hueys (with the new copter pilots sitting pretty!). Huge fun despite my USMC getting their posterior handed to them in a platter!
EDIT - most of the photos now the right way around thanks to advice given below

Think of it as the closing scene of The Green Berets with John Wayne watching the sun set over the South China Sea.
Very nice looking game!

Those figures look very well painted. Care to add more photos of them? I like what you did.

Hi Erik - you’re very kind and I mustn’t take too much credit as my marines were all painted by Dags who is often found on these pages (can’t recommend him enough). I didn’t get many other photos of this game worth putting up (I was too busy desperately trying to get my platoon out alive! I really loused up and am now waiting to get fragged!) but will hunt out a few more photos of an earlier solo game.

Ok Erik, here goes. A lockdown solo game. The figures are all Empress painted by Dags. The buildings are a mixture of Sarrisa and Grand Manner and the jungle and paddy fields are all the work of Phil Taylor at “Tinned Fruit” (?! ... no idea where gets that name from!).
EDITED to get pics the right way up (see comments below)

Sorry so many if these are “on their side”. They were taken on my phone and I was holding it the wrong way around for this site.
EDIT - now the right way up thanks to guidance below!

Nice set up (and the painting), though viewing at an angle has given me neck ache ^__^.
Does your 'phone have a gallery app with a rotate option?
