Finally got my Marine helicopters finished (now onto the Air Cav ones of which there are far too many!!!!)

Huey's are Corgi

H34's are Trumpeter.

Crews are Empress Miniatures.

Having followed through the research on the red wing transfers on the front of the H34's Carlos was right the number in the middle identifies the specific aircraft. It should also match the numbers on the side, shown as 22. However the kit instructions are wrong and do not match the numbers. I therefore adopted a semi lazy solution of changing the nose cone numbers for identification on the table during a game but ignored the numbers on the side. They are marked as very early war and so pretty loud in colours but I do love Americana and these guys are a good example of that so I went with it.

Paul - I have been using all my willpower (and some of my wife's

) to avoid getting some of your Vietnam stuff. But I can feel my resolve weakening...any idea on when the US Army fellas will make an appearance in your store? I fear that will be my breaking point....
