Got my order a week or so ago! Only just had a chance to sit down at the desk and have a proper look. Really chuffed with the ARVN and can't wait to see more! Also a couple of jeeps came through too.  amazed by them.

Just been painting up the fabulous villagers and adding a couple more huts to my village.

A couple of suggestions/ requests. Could we have some civilian porters please? More folk with loads being carried on poles or yokes and maybe a bicycle with load. Not just useful for the Ho Chi Minh Trail, porters were an intrinsic part of most NLF/PAVN operations and ambushing of supply parties a feature of the war.

Could we also have some more civvies in urban attire, suitable for Hue or any urban centre. Men in short sleeved shirts and slacks, women in ao dais? The unarmed/armed option like the villagers would be great.

Finally could we get an ARVN type with a bullhorn as an interpreter for cordon and search games?

I agree.

Just ordered the Hue campaign book from Osprey (due November) to go with the Tet Offensive book I bought all those years ago.

Got my ARVN yesterday, too. they arrived safe and sound and they are really really nice sculpts, full of character.
Now i have to convert some of them, as I couldn't resist ordering several of the same pack, so will add some more pouches and other stuff to make them look a bit different to the original , may be a head swap or two and I need a medic of course.

Some excellent ideas for figures - the sort of thing that gets the creative juices going for scenario design

Not an exact ETA but there will obviously be a swathe - torrent - tranche - or what ever the latest marketing word is for more in the not too distant future.
