Er, I know my memory is a bit off as I advance in age, but I don't remember any ranks like that, in your army or mine.... :o

Understandable. Us Lord Generals do not tend to hang around with the lower orders  lol lol

Its the 17th century rank for the most senior general in an army eg The Earl of Essex, Sir Thomas Fairfax and of Course Oliver Cromwell.

In which case you want Captain-General. I suspect the Empresses may have differing views as to who is boss though.  ;)

Very nice work btw the cam is simply bt effectively done and the bucket looks grand!

"Bucket"?  WTF is a "bucket"?  Some weird euphemism for an M113?  :o

Yep, an M113 is a bucket. RAAC personnel get their nickname of bucket heads from said vehicle*.  Not from the striking resemblance some have to a water carrying implement or the similarity of IQ levels. ;)

*Arguably they get it from all turreted armoured vehicles but 'bucket' itself is/was an M113, just as the FV432 in British Army parlance is invariably a 'wagon'.

I thought as much.  We weren't nearly as imaginative.  We called M113s (and any armored vehicles) "tracks".  Now, for those that inhabited M113s and the like, we tankers had several names......
