???

( I don’t have FB) I’m guessing Matthew Modine likes the figure?

Yes, his Son has commented twice about it, says his dad loves it! :)

That is pretty fucking cool!
Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo

Got my first 10 packs today. Incredibly detailed and clean sculpts. Really impressive work by Paul and the Empress team!

Had a busy weekend and not had a chance to post a new Marine so you can be introduced to two this morning.

These chaps were only in the fist half of the film but both became iconic characters. We introduce to you Gny Sgt Hartman and Private Gomer Pyle as if they did survive basic training and got to Vietnam and Tet.

As usual Hartman is on Pyles case and Pyle is showing his manic war face. Scary stuff.

Hope you like. ;)

The ‘not R Lee Ermey’ is an excellent likeness but the gunny should be wearing a tin hat.

Now, you really should slip in a real Gomer Pyle, maybe when you do early war marines.

Hartman has his helmet hanging on his belt, naughty boy.

When doing these type of figures you have to go for a slightly arty look to get the 'look' and putting a helmet on him actually looses character. Of course he would be best in a lemon squeezer but that would be pushing it.

"Of course he would be best in a lemon squeezer" lol

You could offer an additional head wearing the hat from the film.
This would save us all a lot of messing about with greenstuff. :o :o

By the way, these character sets are brilliant :-*

In the cap is just how I imagine Hartman would go to war. After all, when he faces down ‘Pyle’ he does kind of act like he’s bulletproof.  8)

If you squint and listen closely you can hear that figure asking “Did your parents have any children that lived?”

I have a sneaking suspicion that if Paul does chopper crew, we’ll see that face again.  ;)

When do you expect to launch the Full Metal Jacket figures?
