Very nice indeed!
Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo

Superb... Now i need to decide whether to paint the NVA in green or khaki uniforms! What was worn in Hue?

Seems to have been green but some colour pictures show a mix. Problem is some of the pictures taken at Hue that say they are NVA I have always been a bit suspicious of because they look more VC main force. Mind you the average VC did not pose for Osprey book artists and even though there was a special uniform issue for Hue I suspect it was fairly mixed.

If the US had problems supplying kit the North Vietnamese were way behind.

The next question is what colour green  ;)

One question though in the pictures of the Radio operators, what weapon has the guy in the third photo, is that a thomson?

The chap with the officer has a Thompson with the butt removed. See below.

The kneeling guy has a grease gun.

The level of detail on the RTO pack is superb! These could well be used to replicate the photo of an officer, radio man and marine on the citadel wall (they are crouched down with the Dong Ba tower in the background). One of the group is holding an AK (might make a nice figure  :). Guess they would use captured weapons from the NVA? I think it is Sgt(?) Maurice Whitmer in the History Channel film who talks about running out of ammunition and having to throw bricks at the NVA (that would make another nice figure!) He also relates how the NVA popped up "like Prairee dogs" from the spider holes and tunnels built into the tower and the citadel walls.

Anyway, will wait for the M48 to be released before putting a vehicle order in but these need to be bought asap!

Gorgeous work! I'm still wavering between scales, but these NVA and that RTO pack might just be the deciding pieces ;)

Really excited for some ANZACs and local force ;)
