Since we’re in the subject of RTO’s - a little plea. I know AirCav are a long way off but one of my favourite characters in the film of “We Were Soldiers....” is the RTO with the thick rimmed specs.... not asking for commitment now but, hell, if you don’t ask - you don’t get! (I can dream can’t I?).

Hicks really is the master sculptor isn’t he?

Is there anything wrong with using these figs as Aircav? I remember the Bowder book referencing an Aircav company or platoon being issued with flak jackets. I don't know enough about specific uniforms and kit of the war to know whether it would be heresy to use these as Army, Aircav etc?

I am sure once you have painted them, they are "North American soldiers in Vietnam" for anyone but the most exquisite wargamer-historian...

Your table, your toys. For me, no.  Different flak jackets btw.

We do not care how you use them but would suggest/ advise that probably what you want will pop along at some point in the range so you may have to show patience until your bus arrives. ;)

Or just buy them all  lol

How have you discerned my plans? Going to have to update the security settings on all my mobile devices now.

Was there any doubt you would buy them all?

I was thinking, which in itself is dangerous...

Sarissa Precision have been working with other miniatures companies to deliver appropriate terrain in support of new ranges (Warlord's WW2 range or Footsore's Roman range). Have Empress considered working with SP on a dedicated Hue range? There are already a few suitable buildings in their range and it would be great to see an easy one stop shop considering how many people have been asking here for terrain suggestions.

Its always complicated working with others and we have found that its just best to do your own thing. However we did discuss this with a company earlier in the year but they have seemingly done little. I do suspect that some building manufacturer will however jump on the band wagon pretty soon and we may even do some resin specials although the Citadel is pushing it  lol

Just found a new video, showing ROK forces in Vietnam. Its 25 mins long, and is just showing film clips with period music added to not make it to boreing.  lol

You really get a since of the progression of the war. With uniform and arms changes over time.

Ahead of the curve here. I had some Artizan WW2 GIs floating around  for some long forgotten project that have been repurposed as ROK troops. They were handy for testing the colour palette fir the Marines.
