The USMC had one pass and decided to drop the napalm in a safe zone thus no casualties.

Wise move at the time.

One of the very few wise moves I made in the entire game! 🤣

:o So I take it, that it would have dropped the Nap on the Devil Dogs instead? Or did the Napalm deny the Viets movement, and thus helping the Marines?  :D
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

The area where I called in the air strike was devoid of VC when it eventually arrived so it dropped on an empty area (better that than bring in too close to my very battered platoon) but when I finally brought in artillery  (way too late as Paul says!j I was able to suppress one assault on the left flank and then I just kept the fire coming down there so as to keep that flank locked down thus enabling me to devote what little firepower I had left on the front, rear and right flank to suppress NVA assaults there. It was getting very desperate right up to the last move when the cavalry (well M113’s) arrived. I had taken 75% casualties (yep, 75%!).  A really lousy performance on my part!

Forget the 75% casualties, what would have been galling for the Marines would have been being rescued by the US Army. lol

A preview of the next section of the ANZAC range.

Lots to be done such as stowage and crew but you get the idea I am sure. ;)

Very cool indeed! I want a couple.  :-*

Just finished the MUTT and working on detailing the Mighty Mite.

Heavy as they are, your metal castings are an improve on the resin stuff and a lot easier to build.  The resin the old Imprint line came in gave much sharper definition, dunno if there’s an availability issue with it but I’d welcome its return.

I hope the doors are separate pieces, they ended up being removed in Vietnam after a nasty ambush incident.

Looking forward to the crew now.

The 'old resin' is the same as the 'new resin' its just had the grey colour removed. I will have a look but TBH think that the quality is better now than of old although resin manufacturing is very difficult. Its also slow and some vehicles are best made in metal, if they are small enough to fit, due to the numbers needed.

However I will have a look at the situation just incase I missed something  :o

Doors are fixed on these although windows are not.
