Ash,

If it’s any consolation, filling actual sandbags wasn’t much fun either.

It's been a while, but filled a few way back when...

Then the STAB with crew.
Okay, my wiki-fu is weak (Luftwaffe observation 'plane?, American prep' school?).

ANZACS Landrover crews AND other packs. However difficult to do a time line as the plague etc is messing everything up so its difficult to do a time line.

Cool, what about BAOR crew (and Late War British crew for the CT15A)?

STAB= Seal Team Assault Boat. A cool little toy to insert your SEALs with.

Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo

Actually its an LSSC -  Light SEAL Support Craft rather than a STAB. My bad  ;D

The SEAL team will be released early next week along with the MACV. This boat will then be crewed with linked figures to the SEAL team and the various LMG and GL added to this boat. There will obviously be a chap driving it in pilots helmet. This was a bit more fun than a STAB.

The year before the plague, we went touristing to Vietnam and the rivers are very wide down by the coast. Our day trip on the Mekong was across a very large expanse of water but there were many narrow channels feeding in to the main flow. The local women took us on a very narrow boat trip down some of those channels.

I like the new boat.

Looks like I need to build a bigger river :D
Cheers,

For a minute I thought you were going to say they were using an LSSC  lol

I might have felt more comfortable in that.

Especially if it had all the guns. ;)

@Poiter50

I work in purchasing and we have many suppliers in Vietnam. I used to visit three or more times a year.
I have visited the Meekong are on boats and also soe of the museums.

I have not been since 2017 but I will be going back once the Covid situation allows.

Mick, a beautiful country with beautiful people. They fought for their freedom against a corrupt southern government propped up by a scared world power. I agreed with the reasons the West went to war but once the nature of the southern government became apparent, my sympathies evaporated. I dislike a dictatorship, no matter which side it is on.

I was scheduled to go there as part of the Aussie military but the changing politics in Australia changed that, so I missed out. Still had a great time while in the Green machine but never again.
