12 years old? None too shabby  ;)

The more you paint, the better you get.

Looking pretty good :)

Like Captain Blood said - keep painting :)  You might also want to think about painting the sand on the base of the chap on the right.  A dark paint and a light drybrush will improve the sand quite a lot and make your figure look even better!

i used bare sand for 3 years before i could be asked to make the shift into repainting them all,  the skin looks very good, pretty much (from what i can gather) the same as i do now, just two layers. less is more.

12? How long have you been painting for?
I started when I was 8, but my painting only really got to your standard a couple of years ago.
Keep it up, you'll go far!  :)

Keep up the nice work!! Your painting at age 12 is far better than mine at that age...I never had little figures to paint. My son just turned 13 and he is beginning to paint now as well. Remember, if you make a mistake, you can always touch it up with other paint. Don't get frustrated, even all of the famous painters in the world  throughout history made mistakes and had to fix things up too. You have the beginnings of greatness...keep at it and you'll have armies of your own to use on the gaming table to be proud of!! 8)

Nice work.

Oh, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on!

Just do what I do - keep the pics small and pretend they are finished to "wargames standard" rather than "golden bogbrush collector's standard" because I need to get them finished quickly (rather than because I am an oaf with little talent and that's the best I can do)   lol

These figures are very impressive, though.  Keep posting more pics Cap'n, so we can marvel at your progress  ;)
