FYI: The Rambo  set comes with a Rag Boat, not a PBR. I just snagged one recently. On the up side, you also get the Huey.  :D

Thanks for that info. What does the Huey look like?

Great game you got there! Are the side doors possible to open on the Easy Model Huey?

no and there are pilots and gunners but there are six different models at easy. however, the force of valor does not have a mark.

Empress are just about to put into production an M113 in 1/50 scale.
A new one? Your existing M113 kit has a fair level of detail, so I'd be interested in seeing what else could be added to that (other than details for specific variants). Though a M113 with a turret would be appreciated. Not just for that vehicle of course - I mean those turrets have appeared on pickup trucks and all sorts over the years. :)

I was going to mention their M113.

Of course I assume their existing one is 1/50.

I of course would like the German version (MG3 and different smoke dischargers).

It looks to be this one: https://www.scalemates.com/kits/monogram-5201-huey-hog--159055

The old Monogram "Huey Hog".

I found a proxy to the PBR. The boat comes in three parts, hull, cabin walls and cabin roof:

It is a bit similar to patrol boats used by the French in Vietnam:

Can anyone id this river boat?

The image can be found on barrage miniatures website but the boat does not seem be in their range. I emailed barrage miniatures without any response so I try my luck here  :)

As far as I know the only guys that make a PBR is Old Glory.
I have only seen small photos of it on the web.
I believe that  one was make by Cold Wars.
(May have the name wrong.)
Maybe Empress or Gringo might make one when
they do their 'Nam ranges.
One can hope.

That looks great but the KS never happened it seems?

In the meantime I got some response from Alf at Barrage Miniatures. The boat on the picture is indeed a 28mm PBR that is almost ready for production. There are only the design of the roof awning that remains. In order to speed up the process and give Alf some incentive, please email alf@barrageminiatures.com and encourage him if you are interested.  ;)
