I found a picture of this kinda "Flying Fortress with legs".
Anybody's ever seen this figure?

"I'd like to send this letter to the Prussian consulate in Siam by aeromail. Am I too late for the 4:30 autogyro?"
"Uh, I better look in the manual... This book must be out of date. I don't see "Prussia", "Siam" or "autogyro"...

This one is from Old Glory, from their sci-fi vehicles range. It looks a little early for WWII, but it could be included in the early British tanks units that were used early in the war.

My wierd german walker is finally painted... It was a lot of repainting, and I am still not all that happy with it. Still, I think it looks pretty good none-the-less!

Check out more pics here:

Another new WestWind alternative WWII walker, painted.  It isn't too bad once painted up, but I prefer the more pulpy look than this more futuristic look....

Another one from WestWind...  Looks a little too futuristic to me, but still cool.

Their torso, arms and weapons are great, the only problem are the legs, they look too flexible and dynamic. And buying a walker you have to rebuild the legs?...

Just thought I would post this picture. It is pretty cool, and potentially inspiring.

Dear Gentlemen,

the model linked by Neldoreth is a Koubo-Kai Steam-Powered Battlesuit from the japanese "Sakura Wars" franchise (animés, mangas & video games). The model appears to be one of Wave´s 1/24th scale Injection Plastic kits (of which I have one, too).

You might still be able to get some from more specialist comic book or model suppliers.

@Topic: I, for one, really like the West Wind mecha and am going to buy the two German walkers for my "Forschungsstelle Wolfenfels" Pulp Project, and maybe the American for my Armoured Company.

just little correction to the russian text , if you dont mind, it schould look like this (not really much, just little details):

hi Prof.
so whats up with the russian text? :?

i only ask, cos Battlefront's article on their website is infact a rip-off of my article i did for the Society of Twentieth Century Wargamers a few years ago... (so much of a rip  off that i ended up being credited for it)
the text i wrote is copied from a WW2 pic of a soviet tank bearing the slogan.

cheers,

rob.
