Yup.

Moderns, plus the WWW2 stuff, that would do with a different paintjob.

These guys also have 3 slightly cartoony, but worth a look zeds of c35-45mm - "Attack of the Cannibal Zombies"...

Thank you, I know them. They are very bad, not worth writing about them. The Rest of this company is nice, but the zombies are made for the dust bin

I wouldn't disagree with that....

The Graven images ones are pretty good though, but i can't help thinking you will get the bug, and then want hundreds....

Personally i'd go for 28mm, but that because I like a lot of zeds on the table....

From beyond are 40mm as well, the toys and lesser scarecrows are around 20mm tall.

Beware, it is in doubt as to whether Graven Images/Monolith are still trading.

I e-mailed them yesterday, weirdly enough, asking for the scale of the From Beyond range, and they answered today. They didn't say anything about not trading, but then again they didn't say they were trading either.

Yet over on the Yahoo group, people are saying that they cannot get any response :?

I would advise caution too, and see if you can pick their stuff up from other sources, sales e-bay and such. Are there any zeds in the North star Weird war range that could be used?

The Graven Images figures are 40mm and  real delight to paint but they are different to other 40mm figurees - a lot chunkier.
I don\'t know whether to be a good example or a horrible warning.

Be careful.

First, I am a memeber of the Jim Bowens Yahoo group and many people complain because they don't get any answer to their emails nor their order as well.

Steve is a great guy and I bought a ton of Graven Image miniatures (all of them in fact) by the past.

Second, Graven Image miniatures are large and tall 40mm (up to 50 for some of them) and won't fit HLBS range if you are a scale maniac like me.
I wish I were an octopus to paint more miniatures...Cthulhu must be a great painter
