The Pulp Alley Quickstart download is now available on our Pulp Alley store.  This free 30-page pdf does not include all the rules but it's enough to learn the basics and get started playing.

Please note, after you place your order it may take up to 24 hours before the file is ready to download --  https://store.pulpalley.com/product-p/f100.htm

Have you considered making printed copies of the Quick Start booklet?

Dave,
I have downloaded the pdf of Pulp Alley 2nd Edition. It looks great! Thanks for the early release! I am attempting to interest a buddy in incorporating Pulp Alley into our email South China Sea campaign. I wanted to hold off until 2nd Edition came out so I am particularly thankful for the early release.

Hi,
Many thanks to Dave and Betsy for their prompt despatch of the Pulp Alley 2nd edition rule and scenario books.  I got mine yesterday afternoon (April 13th) and started reading through the new 2nd edition rulebook.
The new edition of the rules is excellent with a very clear layout and lots of examples. The changes are mostly minor but they take my favourite set of wargames rules and polish them to that extra shiny shade of brilliance. The new scenarios look very interesting too and have some nice ideas and twists.
If you haven't tried Pulp Alley or like small skirmish adventure style games I'd recommend getting this new edition of the rules when they go on general sale.

Been reading my copy all morning. How is this game not more popular!? It's so intuitive, fast-paced, and not bogged down with excessive special rules

Agree with the others. 2nd edition has only made a solid ruleset better. And how refreshing to not have everything I’ve bought for the game made obsolete, like so many other game companies tend to do with new editions. What a fun set of rules. How gaming should be done. Way to go!

I haven't had time for a full, page-to-page read through, but I've done the first initial skim, then the second heavier skim focusing on the update hand symbol (grad school ruined my ability to just read a book, I swear.)

So far all I can say is that I'm very glad I backed for both the rulebook and the scenario book!  Deadrise looks like it was made for my particular fantasy, modern, post-apoc, AND sci-fi collections!

Now I just need to get back to work on my re-done PDF layout for the Solo deck with all boosters, so I can print my own full deck.  Has Dave ever released color, blank card backgrounds?  I need to look into that....the core Solo Deck for download and the one included in my PDF of Serpent's Tomb have black & white fronts while the booster pack PDFs are the color printers layout files...

I have just added the new Pulp Alley Rulebooks and cards to Sally 4th's Pulp Alley store so that anyone in UK or Europe, who missed the Kickstarter can pre-order at a discount for shipping in June.
