Dacian Warbands - 28mm
« on: February 25, 2019, 01:33:10 PM »
Progress continues with the Romano-Dacian collection and the addition of a seventh Dacian warband.

This posts takes a look at it and warband number six that had not featured in previous posts together with a brief look at the campaigns against the Dacians prosecuted by Domitian.

Thank you chaps.

The figures are the Warlord Dacians which consist of a basic plastic figure which they include metal torsos and heads plus some suitable weapon mixes to turn them out as Dacians.

I have the German packs which are similar but have everything you need to do German look options.

What I very often do is add in a few Foundry types to help add some more variety, but I think for turning out large forces of massed Warbands the plastics are a bit of a 'no-brainier' and I think they look very nice for the big army look.

Cheers
JJ

Thanks. The models are certainly the best option for large army blocks. I have several for my Celts. Didn’t know about the Dacian set, but I remember they released something similar for British Celts.
