Too many appointments today, so only a small windows to do anything, so drybrushing it is.

Basic stone is done, base is next, then adding washes for some extra colour, varnish, tufts and dusting and I must be clearly insane but what else is new......

Dat zie je niet aankomen.

Moet jij geen scheepjes schilderen?

Nice work!

All in all it's just a-nother brick in the wall...

Daring project, reminds me of your bunker project: Still thinking big after years you should have learnt better. On the other hand - who of us could...  lol

Njet :)

That was 10 years ago, a younger man back than (with more working parts). The Bunker Project was a great idea, I was just lacking the required skill and motivation. Plus I have 4 more weeks to go till surgery so I want to get as much done as possible before they "fix" my hand and I should be a good 2-4 weeks out of action then.

Plus, this bit of scenery works for sooooo many more settings.....

I'd buy it. The bunker was gone before I could get it...  lol

Outstanding! Immediately made me think of the aqueduct in Segovia in Spain - except of course that the one in Segovia isn't in ruins! I love the modularity of this build - a lot of work, but it will definitely be worth it. The painted ruin pieces look wonderful - I can hardly wait to see them completely finished!

Best of luck with your surgery - I hope all goes well.

You sir are amazing, wish you well with the surgery, but don't ever let them try and cure your madness, its fine as is.

Thx Lads. Michi, Erik (Modhail) has it now and with Crayne we are trying to make a Deep Space Hulk Salvage sort of a game.

Progress for today, 4 ruined walls have had a lost of washes to change the tones of the rock, and the primer for the sand has been apllied.

Also, I think I can finish off these 2 ruined supports tomorrow and get them ready for priming when it has all set properly.

Hell no, no snow. Would be odd using these in Cambodja covered in snow....

The 2 ruined columns are pretty much done, another coat of thinned glue/water/detergent mix tonight to make the sand really rock hard, and basecoating them sundsy evening, I hope. The 4 wall ruins are now finished base wise so will get varnished tomorrow, then tufts and dust and it is done. Also, I found a Buddah for the 50 cent challenge that I'm basing in the same way.

Again my apolagies for the shitty phone pics, it is all I have.
