To match the sillines that is the independent - I've started on the Krupp (I think) Grosstraktor II
It's a bit more of a sensible design than the independent and I've not seen one in 1/56.

I like the fact that your following an interesting historical thread with these builds
(It just show what forty quids worth of nicked blueprints will lead too.)
I do think you should mention the intrigue  and correlation of the original vehicles, behind your builds as part of your marketing(especially if you go on to do the Russian interpretation) As it'll increase they're use and interest in have one of each.

Good idea ;)

Yes I'm enjoying the glory days of tank design where anythign was possible.
Got to get into the tank archives and see if I can find anything similar in Russia, I'm thinking a BT-2 might be a good match or a T-24 tank?

Grosstraktor. Nice!

My suggestion would be to do a little and large collection. A teeny tank to each. The Leichttraktor is actually a rather cool looking vehicle for its time and a T-18 would make a nice complement for the T-24. The T-18 even saw some active service and would be marketable to the BoB crowd as they were used in action on the Chinese border.

Yes that was sort of the vague plan.   ;D

The GT was driving me up the wall last night...  loads of problems with the turret, the drawing is different in the 3 axis of the drawing...  >:(

Love the Grosstraktor! I would second Carlos' ideas for the T18, been thinking of one (or three) to go up against Chinese FTs...

I'll bump the T-18 up the list then if I can find a drawing.  Seeing as it actually got used in combat.

The Independent and GT need a buddy, so my vote is for the T-24 before any of the 'tiny' tanks.  But whatever you decide, I'll be watching...

Looked at the T-18 and it is a bit tiny...   I'll toss a coin once the GT is done.

also got a ship to draw too.
