Hi Chaps,

I have asked in the workbench area about template sizes for terrain as I have found a couple of bags of Old Glory 15MM moderns and immediately memories of AK 47 sprung to mind. I did go looking for a few extra bits on the Peter Pig website and discovered that there is actually a new version of these rules and also that the old version is available as a pdf.

What are the main differences please?

Anyone built any townships I could take a look at or any links to the new game?

Thanks in advance Chaps 15MM has not been my thing for a while but this find is too good to ignore.

I think shooting is difffrent and the flow charts,it has more army lists than the first.A lot of pictures and all color.
i cant remember more but i dident liked it.
Its had les soul ...
Think the first one is better,it  was easy and made a lot of fun

Shooting was more or less similar, based on the difference between rolls with the attacker rolling 2d6 and the defender 1d6. Command changed, as army list creation and army list. There were some interesting concept like reserve bases inside units and external assets.

I have some quibbles but I think that it is not less fun or has less soul than the original, actually I like it a bit more.

Black and white, not full color!

I’d say that the reloaded version is far more dangerous

How do you mean dangerous, Harry?
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

    • The games we play
We played a lot of AK and greatly prefer the original to the new one. It is years since I even looked at the new one so I can't recall the specific differences apart from there seeming to be an awful lot more dice throwing. A bit like the old and new Square Bashing (we also much prefer the original SB).

Thanks Martin, I actually bought the old set as a pdf and have printed it out. A lot of memories came back whilst reading it.... a classic game.
