A while back I asked if anyone had any experience of the Schulcz 1/50 scale Mercedes model (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=115680.msg1447767#msg1447767.

The answer being "no", and with some time on my hands I ventured into deepest, darkest Whitechapel to Leman street (and no, I did not bump into Myanna or Matthew).

The Schulcz kit comes in a poly bag. http://modelshop.co.uk/Shop/Item/1-50-Mercedes-saloon/ITM5913

It has a hollow one piece body and four wheels. The wheels have half moon cut outs to match the wheel arches.

The wheels have reasonable amount of detail, the body shell suffers from the limitation of injection moulding using a two piece tool.

It is comparable in size with the Spectre Saloon car.

After about two minutes clean up (including finding the file to remove the sprue tab) and a run round the edge with a scalpel), here it is assembled.

My camera has a special "dust focus" setting.

Rear view.

Now to get this painted.

I also picked up a number of other items which may be of use.

Wheels are a bit thin, but overall size is looking quite good.

Curious to see how it will look once painted... :)
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

I think that looks really good-keen to see how it paints up. I wish they had the older W123

That's a reasonable size against the figure.
