Mexico or Afghanistan?
Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo

Not our game last year using Fistful of Lead?

Good to see someone else doing something similar.

Photos have vanished probably due to the Photobusket debacle. :'(

That’s a shame, if you scroll through not all photos  are missing, but it’s a faff to have to look at each page!

To all those kind enough to post, in no particular order;
Yes 'Fistful of Lead' but no didn't know someone else had posted a game, has.been pointed us to the rules making the observation that drug gang battles look very much like a western gunfight (well at least on TV!). We've done our own set of amendments which are going well so far, trying to keep to the spirit of quick and simple, hoping we might do a participation at hammerhead next year (if we knew who to contact?).
Yes Mexico, well US/Mexico border - I can feel a fictional narrative coming on. has.been what do you think?
Helicopters. Two are done but cannot sort out stands that work. Tried the magnetic telescopic things but they wont take the mass, obviously designed for smaller scale so will sell off at some time, Did see something on Etsy but can't get the guy to respond with details >:(
This all started because I saw the Spectre figures & rules at GamesExpo 17 and was hooked but the rules don't really do what we want them to but they have worked great for our Soviet Afghan games so nothing lost.
The major positive about this genre is there are loads of vehicles around on eBay, old Del Prado, Dinky & Matchbox plus of course good old poundland.
Thanks all, keep on with any suggestions. :)

What about talking to Jaye (FFoL author) to see if he can incorporate your amendments into the rules and then publish them for we plebs?

Thought speaking to Jaye might be a bit cheeky

Jaye has the draft we did incorporating automatic weapons etc. He’s a decent chap I’m sure he’ll enjoy seeing your amendments and you never know you may see it in print some day.

Westbury is already a published rule writer.
He writes 'proper' rules, while I write (if anything) on the back of a post card,
but I am slowly winning him over to simpler (more fun) rules.

The Etsy helicopter stand route came good but sadly still doesn't cut it - too low to the ground, although maybe just putting the stand on a building would work? If it works photo to follow.

Super Six 4 we are airborne over the bario!
This has been a right pain in the arse, three commercial try's that failed plus various home grown attempts but finally got there :)
