Chile takes to the (Imperial) Skies!
« on: March 08, 2019, 03:27:47 PM »
I see Brigade Models just released the resculpted and much-expanded Chilean fleet for their aeronef range.  Pretty, pretty flying ships.  Particularly like the massively over the top turrets on the battleship.

Anyone around here playing the Imperial Skies rules?  Or the Brigade line still mostly getting used with Wessex's Aeronef or GDW's Ironclads & Ether Flyers?

I'm very nearly ready to start playing Imperial Skies.  Picking up some painted minis in the marketplace here last year was the catalyst that finally got me to start trimming the few models I already had in the stockpile and ordering parts to make flying bases.

I had stocked up on the new Spanish Fleet when first released and have been waiting since then for the other fleets to get upgraded to the new sculpting standards.  Capital ships have all been upgraded, and escort ships should be rolling out shortly for the major powers.

In other good news, Robin Fitton has posted on Facebook that the ships' cards for various nations are in the works right now.  Those will greatly facilitate getting the game up and running too!.
