Last Rites
« on: March 08, 2019, 10:06:09 PM »
At the moment I'm once again taking part in the infamous "Annual Analogue Hobbies Painting Challenge". One theme for a so called Bonus Round was "Fellowship".
My somewhat dark interpretation of the theme was heavily influenced by various stories of comradely behaviour of or towards the enemy when the immediate butchery was over. Here we have a British or Commonwealth Medic closing the eyes of a fallen enemy as a last gesture of fellowship. Thus I labeled the vignette "Last Rites".

Normally I don't link to my blog anymore as I believe a forum like this one needs content in order to stay healthy, but who wants to read more about my thoughts during the creation of this vignette will find it *here*

That piece is FANTASTIC! I really like the grey scale, it is very fitting for the theme but the bright pops of red really bring it together.

Very compelling, the grey subdued palette is perfect.

Touching. Which is something you don't say often related to minis. I love it.
