The terrain is sheets of polystyrene cut out with the hot wire cutter and loads of aquarium plants. I have ordered a tropical swamp mat to base it on.

We got in games 2-3 of our campaign over the weekend. Both were multiplayer games.

We played a game of X Marks the Spot and then a 4 player game of Elephants Graveyard.

Here are some shots of the table, I have built some more terrain and done more work on my crew.

More detailed reports are on my blog.

We played a game of Watchtower on the weekend. We had 4 players on an approximately 4 foot square board. This gives a pretty down and dirty game and all 4 parties got to interact with each other, usually in a hostile manner.

My Heritor was first to climb the tower but then got blown off by a wind gust and shot with arrows. That was the first time I have been taken to zero wounds. But things were OK I rolled a recovery. After the game I went back to the mainland and bought a couple more specialists and have some minor magic items.

Compared to Frostgrave we feel like paupers.

My blog has some more details and photographs

After a break caused by being really sick I managed to get another game of Ghost Archipelago.

We played the Swampland scenario. this gave everyone experience of boats.

We had loads of fun and many hilarious moments in the game. The highlights included the double Sailback encounter, Alan's Heritor failing to escape from a paper bag and Thomas's refining his skill of catching crossbow bolts with his face.

My Heritor made off with the central treasure but then rolled a map stone, stink weed and some coins for my archer dying.

that last game sounds a lot of fun.

and as I've mentioned - love your board / terrain. Looked great for all the games you've reported on so far.

Thanks for the feedback

I have been building a set of cavern terrain for an underground scenario. This could get used for the cities of bronze underworld scenario in the longer term but will get used for a new version of the Pool of Life scenario in our campaign.

The games are fun.

Our mantra is, the game hates you. It will find new and devious ways to defeat you. Something will happen to screw you. Either a critical roll or a wandering monster in your deployment zone and you could easily end up dead.

Your tabletop is great, and I love the different height kevels and the playability. Sounds like great fun!
