As I play quite a bit of Properhammer (8th edition, square bases - Proper Warhammer) I thought I'd just start adding the reports to a single thread instead of multiple ones.

So here we go.

Orcs and Goblins take on the Empire

I think the majority of remaining players from the last edition anyway are now playing the night age (T9A) which is a fan continuation of WHFB 8th edition, though I believe some have been turned off by how pious some of the contributors are about fan rules, which is ironic I think lol.

9th age is a tournament set intent on the  things that tournament players think are important like balance and fairness and lack of ambiguity.

It is therefore not actually very Warhammer.

Yep! As I said above I'm a big fan of 6th edition, and I'm currently painting an army for it made up of various Renaissance ranges. The theme of the army is an Estalian city state, backed up by a mercenary company from the Empire. I'll be using the Empire army list but the army is a mix of TAG Spanish, Foundry Landsknechts and various other figures I like. :D
