After more than ten years of 8th edition it's time for a new flavour of Properhammer.
Warhammer: The Old World makes it's debut in the Sherwood Soldier Shack

A basic 2k game to give the new rules a run out. Empire v. Warriors of Chaos.

A simple field, somewhere on the fringes of the Empire of Man.

Foul invaders must be halted!

The prophets of doom march to their destiny

Warriors of Ulric shed the blood of their foes

The sound of war engulfs the field

Men sell their lives dear

A return to the Old World and a return to the Soldier Shack of K'nt'n the Daemon Prince and his Warriors.

The Blue and White Warriors of Middenheim stood ready to meet the pestilential hordes.

Soon the Blood Red Knights of Khorne had fallen on the veterans of Ulric.

Foul Daemon Prince K'nt'n laid waste the flower of the Empire's knights

A rumble in the jungle as the Daemonic hordes of Slaanesh attempt to attack the ancient Temple city of Ixi-Naquaz and incur the wrath of Ouataounca

The ancent Slaan has sent trusted Saurus warrior Ouan-Gar to deal with the incursion

But the Suarus warriors find Daemons a bit sinewy to chew on

And so larger Lizards are called for

I ventured down to the Grim South for a weekend o Warhammer.
Game one saw an alliance of Dwarfs and Bretonnians face the Red Menace of Chaos

Though few in number the invading Warriors looked mighty (and they had a dragon!)

The flying knights took on the Marauder horse

Could the thin red line hold against the quite a bit thicker and altogether fightier red line? (Spoiler alert - no)
