Hi - not a BRDM1 I’m afraid but, if it helps, a BRDM2 ?

Not that I know of a BRDM 1, but what scale are you interested in?

Empress is 1/50, HLBS (the one in the Empress link above) is 1/48 (near enough for gaming unless you have the same vehicle in both scales) and Sloppy Jalopy have a BRDM 2 in 1/56.

Cuprum might have some ideas, as might Wyrmalia.

1/56 is good as it's says it's works with 28mm

There has been a discussion on this sub-forum (and on the WW2 one) about 1/56 and 1/48 (plus a side order of 1/43).

In some ways it is best to choose your scale based on the range available.

Unfortunately, I do not know any model of BRDM-1 at a suitable scale. All I can offer you is to make a model on my own, using patterns of a paper model at a scale of 1:50. I think these sheets need to be printed on an A4 scale (or reduce them to 1:56). Cardboard or thin plastic can be used as a material. Wheels can be taken from a suitable diameter from other toys or other models.

I know one person who makes similar models from aluminum beverage cans. On them, you can push the desired relief, and collects - cyanocrylate glue. Cuts out parts with ordinary scissors. Of course it is troublesome - but this is still the only way to get the desired model.

Solido made the Sagger ATGM version. It’s not entirely accurate as either the Sagger, Swatter or the recce version and it is around 1/45. That said it looks like a BRDM-1, is a robust toy and shouldn’t be beyond the average gamer to modify to the version they want. They pop up on ebay from time to time.
