Inspection parade of my 18th century French army

I'm currently doing an inspection parade of all my wargaming armies, several of which haven't seen the outside of my display cabinet for a decade or more. At the moment I'm reviewing my French army of the mid-eighteenth century (artillery, train and generals are still to come over the next few days):
French infantry:

Foreign infantry:
https://arteis.wordpress.com/2019/03/26/on-parade-foreign-regiments-of-the-18th-century-french-army/
Guards and grenadiers:

Light infantry:

Cavalry:

These 28mm figures were all painted in the very early 2000s, so represent my level of painting at the time. But despite the fairly crude shading and detail, I think they do look really good on the table, and have in fact stood the test of time quite well.
As with most of my armies, the basing hasn't been done to align to any particular rules. I work the other way round – I adapt rules to suit my basing.
Here are some sample pics from the above links:

Great collection. The officer in the white wig , 2nd photo , is particularly eye catching. The armies of Louis XV were very colourful , a great period to game in .
