For those who don't have the mdf fu of Rich and Chris.
This would make a good stand in for an arctic base/building.

Do the stoves lift up to disclose a 300 yard tunnel beneath? :)

Those Great Escape POW huts do look great, I love the furniture. Might be a little drafty in the Arctic, but then you can always wrap up warm!
We will be releasing kits for an Arctic base as well as the Jamesway huts very shortly as part of the Whiteout / Classic Movies range, very shortly, along with the miniatures, vehicles, sub, crashed satellite, tents, ship etc....

Britains zoo toys!

Is Britain’s still a thing? Naturally, you have lovingly recycled these from your youth?

Ovine   :)  (I have a rather nice book with lots of useful lists like that!)

BTW I forgot to say, I am loving all this Whiteout stuff. Doug em4  reminded me that I have some terrain boards which are crying out for this.

I've agreed to do a couple more packs of figures to go with Rich's and Chris's work.

We're really grateful to Mark for his great sculpting.

What we have so far for definite in the project is:

•   Ski-doo kit (metal & resin kit)
•   Medium SnowCat & Trailer (MDF & Card Kit)
•   Large SnowCat (Resin Kit)
•   Arctic Science researchers (4 fig pack)
•   Skiers (4 fig pack)
•   Arctic soldiers (4 fig pack)
•   Sub Conning tower breaking through ice (MDF, Card, 3-Decals and resin)
•   Arctic research station (MDF & card)
•   Crashed Satellite / Camera Objective Marker (resin)
•   Jamesway Hut – Accommodation (MDF & card)
•   Jamesway Hut – Garage (MDF & card)
•   Expedition dome tent (resin)
•   Tramp steamer kit for Ice Bound Ship
•   Printed Whiteout Rulebook
•   Printed Whiteout cards

Marks just started on the first couple of stretch goals, as I'm pretty certain this is going to be popular.

This is the full list of stretch goals, how many we get done will be dependent on how much interest there is in the project.

•   Ice Station Zebra Character Pack
•   Soviet Paratroopers in Arctic Kit
•   Character pack based on ‘The Thing’
•   Dog Sledge Pack
•   Man pulled sledge pack
•   Arctic wildlife pack

First run through with Richard Naylor tonight. I was pleasantly surprised that it worked out OK. The card system works but it's clunky and remembering what all the cards do is hard work but either some printed cards of just stickers on the cards would fix that.

Suffice to say meeting a Polar Bear on the second tile at point blank did not go well... tweaks made and started again!

Some changes to be made to sort the balance and more details of the game to follow...

It was actually.  We ran out of time but I think we'd jsut entred a differnet phase, we'd been mauled by an enemy patrol and we were low on food.  I suspect we might struggle to keep going for much longer which is exactly what it was intended to be.

Some things have been adjusted for balance and some clarified but generally we didn't find any parts that weren't covered in the rules to some extent

It narrated itself too, the polar bear encounter, the sentry appearing at the sight of the broken down sno-cat, the skulking wolves keeping an eye on us, the abandoned ship, the returning patrol...  you'll see from the pictures the terrain totally randomly formed a harbour around a frozen in ship.
