Our party was rolled up....Sean Connery and Roy and Moss from the IT crowd.

That’s what I need! With Soviet Paratroopers, naturally.

Seems there is quite a selection for anyone wanting to do an arctic-antarctic themed game. The OOP stuff from Sgt Majors 28mm Pulp range also had Inuits and Cossak types, with various armaments, some mounted on Yak and Bear type animals, that would fit perfectly with these figs. Hope it catches on, can envision some very cool game layouts.

Last week, we received the first test casts fn our 'Ski-doo' kit. This will be part of Sally 4th's third Classic Movies Kickstarter:Whiteout...Miniatures and models inspired by movies set in cold places.

As well as miniatures, vehicles and buildings the campaign features 'Whiteout' a solo / co-operative miniatures game by Richard Humble. Kickstarter is scheduled for late June / early July.

Ooops. feels very embarrassed now.
I'm sure I'd seen a picture of one with a propeller somewhere.

I'd best have another go at assembling one tonight, and send a note to Jon in case he does the same!

It's a fun look . Don't worry about it.There are prop driven vehicles they just tend to be more on the line of pushers once you get nearer to WW2.

Here's a book I couldn't for the life of me remember who illustrated it so I've just bought a copy. It's probably worth while Rich and you getting hold of one as there's plenty of inspiration in the illustrations alone .( if you've not already got it ;) )

Thanks, I will look that one out.

In the mean time, here is the correct photo for the Ski-Doo.

.... and a couple of images of that troublesome propeller correctly installed on the Auto-gyro!

To be honest Rich I've bought it for the illustrations. As there's some lovely pulp ideas that'll bounce into clay quite easily.
Chris you need to check your casting there's something seriously amiss with the rocket pods.
( they've either been mis aligned during casting or have failed under the pressure of moulding.)

"I only read it for the pictures!"

That's certainly an interesting inversion of the old classic.  lol

I was wondering who'd pick up on it. The best thing about that inversion is if you use it in the context of the original. Nobody enquiries any further. lol
