Kev White just finished the sculpt of this Llama Queen miniature - I will possibly be having a pre-order for some resin masters but otherwise plan to have her available in late May! She is based on a licensed image from Loopy Dave at Deviantart. War Llama by Dave Cauley at Cauley's Cauldron.

Great sculpt from an excellent original art.

Limited gaming use but a really wonderful model for display painters.

  • All to all, by my mustard!
I like that, but not on a Llama.  I totally want to put her on a GW Carnosaur.

I will most likely be offering her solo as well.

The llama is a quadruped which lives in big rivers like the Amazon. It has two ears, a heart, a forehead, and a beak for eating honey. But it is provided with fins for swimming.
Llamas are larger than frogs.
Llamas are dangerous, so if you see one where people are swimming, you shout...
Look out, there are llamas!

So, yes, a carnosaur may be safer (and would look bloody good too!)

A War Llama.... I like that.  :P  Will there be anymore Llama cavalry to accompany her?
I'm not a mercenary. Killing's more of a hobby for me.

I do plan to add more to this line, including some different riders for the war llama, but that probably won't happen until later summer/fall.

Amazing sculpt.

Well, that gives us time to finish painting this figure, and her headdress. (Note to self: Buy new magnifier headset) :D

Thanks! My store is at  https://barbaricsplendor.com/

Grey Matter is going to do the resin mastering and I will have some resin masters of the Llama Queen for pre-order soon. The War Llama (metal only) is up for pre-order now; I will probably add both the resin masters and metal versions of the queen for pre-order as solo items as well. The set should be in the store by the end of May if not sooner.
