Spanish Infantry Regiment Cordova, more commonly known as the "Old Greens"

This famous unit fought in the Rousillon Campaign against the dastardly French.

Very nice as always! Im glad to see you painted the Old Greens Tercio,  and I like your choice of Blood & Plunder officer ;)

Given how many units in this collection, I had to look at other sources for suitable commanders.

The "Old Reds" are on the painting table at moment.

Superbness in extremis.

But one thing a bit off and that is the fake fur long grass that just seems too long but who cares, way too much grand stuff.  I am most impressed by the river and that you - and your terrain maker - stayed away from blue and made a believable river.

Thankfully, not a period that will tempt me, besides it being in the wrong scale.  But if I were tempted this thread would be a wonderful inspiration.  Actually, already is inspiring since I have a fort in a cliff planned for my pirate collection, a partially damaged Vauban style fort below with an intact one above - and perhaps the other side of a chasm reminiscent of Havana.

Do you own a warehouse!?!?  :o

A couple of 'almost a game' photos but when do we see a 'really big game' - and preferably in the tropics!?

Splendid work, sir, very splendid.
