great value!

I'm not even go0ing to ask how3 good the book is, it was written by Barry and that is enough for me. Although I don't play the period (or Napoleonics) I've been an avid collector of Barry's books for many a year. I have a copy of Beneath the Lilly Banners edition one that must have been a day old off the presses that i bought at SESWC! I'm still a subscriber to the League of Augsburg blog and one of the few who still post on fighting Talk- all of the 'content' is invaluable in a general sense.

You just can't go wrong in terms of inspiration.  8)

Hello!
Some time ago we had a nice exchange on this thread and since then I’ve been busy with 15mm French. Mostly Khurasan, but I managed to locate some Venexia infantry. The French infantry are mostly blue, with two units still in grey, and a Swiss in red.
The posts have been interesting and the 25’s are simply marvelous. I’m adding a couple of pictures of my 15’s. It’s the best work I’ve ever done.
Best regards

The Cardinal's Guard Musketeers block the road to Avignon, clearly his holiness is up to his old tricks again

Bernhard von Galen, Bishop of Münster, invaded the Netherlands the on 1 June 1672 in several places, taking several towns (including Enschede, Almelo and Borculo) and laying siege to Groenlo, where his forces were joined by those of France and Cologne.

Love the Cardinal’s guard unit - they look great 👍

Many congratulations on completing the project.  I am actually a bit sad to see you declare it finished as I have enjoyed seeing the regular updates on it as the collection grew.  However, I am really looking forward to seeing the final show of the whole project.  Will you be having a grand end-of-project game with the collection?  That would be a fine thing to see a report on.

Onward to the Italian Wars!  :D
