« on: April 08, 2019, 01:00:08 PM »
Hi all,
i'm proud to announce that on 14 april 2019 will be held the nineteenth edition of Hellana Games con, the longest lasting 3d wargame convention in Italy. As every year it will be attended by wargamers from all across the country with a great offer of demo/partecipation tables and retailers. The convention has free admittance and will last the whole day.
For more info about Hellana please visit our wargame club's website http://gruppoludicoaglianese.it/nuovogla/ or our fb page https://www.facebook.com/HellanaGames/

cheers

I'll  be there together with all Genoese friends as usual.
Hellana is a very good wargame convention, in my opinion, gathering good tables and some of the best Italian traders. Not to be forgot, the Bring & Buy dept!
See you there!!
Marco

We hope that this edition will be the best but for sure it's the biggest that we ever had: we improved of the 30% the convention surface, we have more than 20 playing tables (some really huge such as 3,50 x 3,5mt) and nearly 20 retailers and manufacturers, including WarColours painting service :-).

See you there guys!

The Marengo table looks really good.  Any more pictures of that game around?

Hi, attached a few more pics. The Marengo scenario has been run by I Cenomani, a wargame club form Brescia. The minis were 15mm while the buildings in 6mm: i find this scale discrepancy very smart, since using 15mm buildings would have compromised the playability of the scenario, imho. Anyway they used the scenario to demonstrate their napoleonic homerules "En Avant, Marche!" a brigade level grand tactical ruleset just released.

Thanks for the new pictures. Really lovely game and some nice scenery ideas.

I guessed the reduced ground scale buildings (I use 10mm buildings with my 15mm troops) and agree it is a great way of showing built up areas without resorting to the awful 1 house represents a town approach.
