Leadbears Tufts
« on: April 14, 2019, 07:01:35 PM »
Hi Gents,

I found this chap on Facebook. He is a small home business in Australia. Great tufts, excellent price and shipping is $3.00 Australian.
Right now the pound sterling to Australian dollar is .55 to 1. So a great deal.

He make 6mm and 12 mm tufts, and here is a new product I requested for my winter board.

I used some of the winter tufts in my convention game yesterday.

They do look good. A pity the FB page is tricky to look through. find his stuff in the "Notes" section. I can;t even find a notes section. I'll just email instead.

Looks like a good product, but perhaps proves a bit too costly for non-Aussie customers.

Hi Peder,

If you are interested in any tufts I'll send them to you.

Best wishes,

Hi  All,

I am actually a member here, but I don't often spruke my wares.

I have been meaning to create a website for ages. It's something on my 'to do' list, but for one reason or another it hasn't happened. I do apologise for the hassle to make an order.

Hammers, postage gets expensive once you order 8 packs or more as they a parcel (approx $25 - $30 AUD). 1 to 7 packs are sent individually and cost $3.00 AUD per pack.

Kind Regards,
Barry

PS: My apologies to the Admins and OP if I've made this a commercial type post.

That's funny, I had never connected you with Leadbears, now I know.

And I'm going to throw in a recommend for Leadbear's Tufts, they are simply the best I've found.

But if you do need a decent amount, then yes, the postage does get expensive, and if in larger parcels, I wouldn't be surprised if HMRC didn't decide to take a huge slice for themselves.

Hi Barry S, I bought some from you ages ago through eBay; do you still have an eBay store?

Hi Codsticker,

I haven't had any on eBay for some time.

I have been meaning put some up for sale, but when ever I get stock it just gets used to fulfil order that come in.

Thanks for all the kind words about my tufts. It's nice to know that an item made on my wife's kitchen table is so well liked.

Cheers,
Barry

Second or third the recommendation. I use them by preference. Very good product.
