Great looking warband. I too like the muted colour scheme - it suits them well.

One of the things I love about these is how the black background enhances the images enormously when it would not do so for a lot of other minis ESPECIALLY for such dark-toned work. That's a testament to just how well the figures read, even with bits of them just on the verge of fading into the background.

I'm just finishing a book myself at the moment. When I've done that I'm going to colour in another one.
Damn pros! Here I am still drawing in the lines between the numbered dots...  ;D

Sumptuous as ever  :-*

The demons are just wonderfully creepy.

What do you use for your Stygian black backdrop?

That Vargskyr (isn't that a brand of Icelandic yoghurt?) is the first time I've regretted missing out on that Cursed City box. Absolutely wonderful!

Thanks a bunch, folks!

What do you use for your Stygian black backdrop?
For smaller stuff, a black t-shirt. For scenic shots I have a larger piece of black cloth.

That Vargskyr (isn't that a brand of Icelandic yoghurt?) is the first time I've regretted missing out on that Cursed City box. Absolutely wonderful!

You're partly right. Skyr is a type of Icelandic yoghurt. A Vargskyr is what happens when a wolf gets bitten by said yoghurt.
I'm hoping they will release that model (or another version in a different pose) on its own at some point. I want at least one more so I can convert it.

Well, looks like were-yoghurt is due for a mostly separate release (with a few other characters presumably on the same sprue) just next week:
