I did try some free hand green numerals but ultimately decided to wait until transfers are being released

Yeah I’m hoping for more as well. The whole range is glorious!
Those are painted with Citadel paints. Death World Forest for the uniform and Death Guard Green for the helmet cover. I like mine to be a wee bit on the green side

I like the painting, however isn't the colour more appropriate for jager rather than line infantry?
Line infantry should be greyer...

Here is an example of the greenish hue that some uniforms had (there wasn't a uniform colour, if you will pardon the pun).
