Tried out some more rocks... i wanted one large enough to have some playing surface on it, but still be able to have lots of cover... still working on the realism, but I like the direction so far.

You're an absolute machine with these terrain pieces! You're doing them so quickly and to such a high standard! Keep up the great work!

Man, I can't wait to see the result of a print that big!
Also, you are now doubly bumming me out because I have a big board of pink foam sitting in my basement and I've been semi-waiting for some inspiration to take me before hacking into it. Seeing your hills makes me think I need to get off my duff and do something. Those are really cool.
Do you use a static grass applicator, or just sprinkle it on?

Thanks guys, happy to be an inspiration! The foam is easy for me to work on while watching the little ones in the back yard... so there will definitely be more coming as the summer brings lots of outdoor time. I have about an hr in these start to finish (not counting glue and wash drying time)... i used a water based dark walnut stain for the wash... it's great to buy by the gallon... i've been using that on ALL of my terrain pieces, buildings and all... keeps from having to dig in the expensive citadel stuff.

Almost finished with my Umber Berserkers... here is the tease with the captain and a newly printed ruined terrain piece... perhaps he is standing in all that is left of kings landing....

Ok... took longer then I had planned... but we have us some Umber Berserkers! And a few new printed terrain pieces... Stark sworn swords up next... all 24 of them!

Excellent paintwork!
I'm not sure what to make of the figure sculpts themselves for the Umbers though, I'm not sure if the design necessarily fits with in with the other ASoIaF ones in the range! That's on CMON though, You've done an excellent job with them!

I like the blue and red scheme in the bersekers!
I'd agree the sculpts aren't some of my favorite, but in general I feel that the Starks are the weakest design wise in the range.
As HappyChappy said, you've done a great job on the painting!

I couldn't agree more with regards to the sculpt choice... look more like barbarians then men of the north during that age. The stark sworn swords look more the part and i'm plugging through those right now...

did you find these guys to be rather smaller than a lot of the armoured types?
I got a couple off ebay, and they seem oddly diminutive to me by the side of say, the mountain's men etc.

At long last... Stark sworn swords.... and the completion of fieldable units from the core box.... now to the non-fieldable units.... then to the 500 expansions!

Excellent work! The blue-grey cloaks work really well!
Still extremely jealous of how nice your basing is too!
