Would you rather get a modular tank/apc kit with swappable parts, or just one type?

Give me parts for both vehicles in one kit for a little more money

Modular tank all in one kit, or separate?
« on: April 26, 2019, 03:57:59 AM »
I have had a vehicle designed for my 15mm control battalion and it has a swappable rear compartment which can either be a tank insert (large beam cannon on a cherrypicker arm)...

(Cannon and arm not shown)

Or an apc insert with a passenger compartment ...

Here’s how it looks with no rear insert:

It’s very easy to just magnetize it and swap out the rear compartment. So would you want to buy ALL parts in one kit, for more money, or just buy the parts for one version only, but less expensive?

I think Either way works. Ion Age has some similar base pieces with options, and they advertise a single chassis with the loadout of your choice, OR you can buy three cassis with one each of the loadout variants. Either way, I'm very intrigued by the idea of a beam cannon on a cherry picker arm!

What I usually prefer in cases like this, is complete kits of each variant and then the different variant pieces also available seperately...  :)
