Review: Peter and Katie by Hasslefree
« on: June 19, 2009, 05:36:37 AM »
There has always be a curious dearth of children in the world of gaming miniatures. Kids have always feature prominently in adventure fiction and games of all kinds, but finding decent minis for them has been a bit of a slog. Fortunately, Hasslefree counts a pair of plucky poppets among its excellent Adventurers range, armed and ready to take on zombies or raiders or what have you. More details and painted pics are available by following the link.

I gotta say, Curry' I love all the reviews you're been posting lately- keep 'em comin'! :-*

Re: Your complaint about the paucity of kid models, even from Hasslefree there are a number of other good Kid figures scattered elsewhere throughout the Hasslefree site, just not in the Adventurer category - try choosing the Juveniles category instead and it shouldn't be hard to make an entire kid warband if needed, even without dipping into the medieval kids or kid Jedi Knights.

Thanks, Heldrak. I'm always glad to hear from people who enjoy my work.
I'm aware of the other Hasslefree kids, and they're each fine in their own way, but I had in mind a class of little kids in matching uniform. I can think of a lot of cool scenarios revolving around a mob like that!
