Perhaps.  But that would require a certain degree and form of subtlety, a trait of which I am not customarily accused... ;)

Thanks for all the comments gents.

Bought a new shiny thing...  M113 ACAV, to give my little squad of ARVN something to ride around in.

Got this one as the track guards are separate pieces, and I'll be doing it without.
The extra armour/hatch combo for the commander's position is also a separate piece (also included is an extra metal hatch), so with or without options.

Just waiting for the crew to arrive. Crew blokes look like they have their own M60s which will allow me to use these ones for something else, just need to make some bi-pod legs....

Cheers chaps.
Here's the last of the 'pond' bases I had from Warbases.

Crew figures for the M113 arrived , thanks to the Empress. Got a base coat on , started the camo & remembered to take some WIP pics.
Going to add the tank rider to the ARVN squad.

That scatter terrain is excellent.

Nice job on that M113. Were all ARVN vehicles marked up as US Army? I have been trying to find the markings for ARVN XM706s.

Honestly I haven't got a clue, but probably not.
From pictures online, ARVN specific M113's don't seem to have a lot of markings at all.
I went with the look of the picture several posts back, with a BDQ ranger & M113 in the background, plus I had a decal that was the right scale and looked the part.

Micro update on the crew figures.

Thanks, the only ARVN illustration in the Osprey Cadillac Gage Commando book is plain green - no markings.

Nice work on the crew.

Whilst the M113 could be tasked to carry rangers, the crews would have come from an ARVN Cavalry squadron. There was a cav squadron (battalion sized) attached to each division, save for the Airborne and Marines. It's probably more likely that they would  be in plain green fatigues rather than camo but certainly not impossible. The ARVN armour beret was black like the RAC, RAAC version.
